The Rebellion of Korah

一. 可拉和他一党的灭亡
The destruction of Korah and his companions

1.他们是利未人和有名望的人
They were Levites and men of renown

2.他们的罪
Their sin

(1) 不信摩西，亚伦是神设立的特别的代表
Ceased to believe that Moses and Aaron were still the special representatives of God

(2) 嫉妒—要将自己升高
Envy --- they were lifting themselves up

(3) 自以为是--- 看不到自己的光景
Presumption ---There is blindness to their sinfulness

(4) 拒绝神设立的中保，自取荣耀要得祭司职任
Assuming a place and dignity which belongs to the Mediator

3. 他们的结局---私欲生出罪，罪就生出死
Their end --- Lust brings forth sin; and sin brings forth death 　

二. 神的恩典和怜悯
The grace and mercy of God

1.摩西俯伏在地，将自己交给恩典的神
Moses fell on his face and left himself in the hands of God

2.因摩西，亚伦的代求，神没有灭绝全会众
The people were spared because of the intercession of Moses and Aaron

3.神在审判 中为罪人预备恩典
There is saving grace available for the sinners

4.可拉的众子没有灭亡（Num. 26:11）
The children of Korah did not die
