The Three Coats of Joseph

一. 彩衣
The coat of many colors

1.爱和恩典的衣服，父亲的爱子
A coat of love and grace—Beloved son of his father

2.圣洁的衣服—不从人的情欲，只从神的旨意
A coat of purity—Do not live in the flesh, but for the will of God

3.弟兄剥去他的彩衣，把他丢在坑里
His brothers stripped Joseph of his coat and cast him into the pit.

二. 仆人的衣服
The coat of a servant

1.卑微和服事的记号
A sign of humbleness and service

2.在服事上经历神的同在
Experienced the presence of God in service

3.在试探引诱中经历神的同在
Experienced the presence of God in temptations

4.在苦难危险中经历神的同在
Experienced the presence of God in trials and dangers

三. 细麻衣
Coat of fine linen

1.尊贵荣耀的衣服
A coat of honor and glory

2.细麻衣就是圣徒所行的义 (Rev.19:8)
Fine linen is like the righteous acts of saints

3.细麻表示神在我们身上炼净破碎的工作
The making of fine linen symbolizes the work of God that He might humble us
