The Second Census

一. 第二次数点 The second census

1.出埃及后40年，在摩押平原
40 years after coming out of Egypt - in the plains of Moab

2.两次数点有何不同
The differences of these two censuses
(1) 第一次只提支派名字，第二次还提家族名字
The names of families were noticed in the second census

(2) 目的：第一次为争战，第二次为征服迦南，分地得产业
The first one was a militant numbering and the second is much more a family numbering

(3) 被数点的人不同：第一次是老的一代，第二次，新的一代
Who is to be numbered: the first one was an old generation and the second is a new generation

3.分地原则： 神的主权（拈阄）；家的性质（ 按人数）
Principles: according to the lot and the number of names

二. 西罗非哈的女儿得产业 The five daughters of Zelophehad received an inheritance

1.相信神的应许 A strong faith in God’s promise

2.切慕在应许之地有分 An earnest desire of the promised land

3.尊重孝敬父亲 A true respect and honor for their father

三. 应用 Applications

1.圣灵随己意将各样不同的恩赐分给各人
The Holy Spirit distributes to each one individually as He wills

2.要得神的上好，不满足於次好的
Desire for God’s best instead of having Him as second-choice

3.教会是基督的身体，也是神的家
The church is the body of Christ and the house of God

4.得产业是为了一同享受产业
Possess inheritance in order to enjoy it
